1 Million iPhones Sold in South Korea
Korea Telecom, Apple’s exlcusive carrier partner announced the milestone earlier this week after selling the device for a full nine months. The announcement comes about a little over a month after the iPhone 4 went on pre-sale in the country overwhelming KT’s servers. With about 200,000 of the device still back-ordered the carrier expects to hit sales of1.2 million by early next month.
Looking forward to iPhone 4 numbers.
Writer for iPad: The Key to Good Writing?
This is one of the apps for iPad I was really looking forward to: Writer for iPad, developed by Information Architects. I knew that the guys over at @IA were working on a new iPad app that should “change” the way we write on the tablet, and based on the tweets I read from its beta testers (people like Om Malik and Aza Raskin) I figured Writer was set to be a great app.

Dropbox is the most important tool I have installed on my Apple devices. On the MacBook, iMac, iPad and iPhone, I manage to keep everything in sync using Dropbox’s amazing sync capabilities. But it’s not just about a powerful engine: Dropbox is easy to use and accessible from anywhere, web and mobile (and desktop). It’s really one-click sharing and saving. Ping: Apple and Facebook Negotiated for 18 Months Over It
Remember Ping? Yeah, that social network thing that launched together with iTunes 10 icon. No wait, it actually launched together with iTunes 10 - I think so.
Anyway, Silicon Alley Insider reports that Apple and Facebook negotiated for at least 18 months over a “music-focused social networking service”, but couldn’t find a deal before Apple decided to let Ping fly with its own wings. Read more
