Here’s a video comparison of an iPhone 3G running iOS 4 and another iPhone 3G running 3.1.3. No matter what, iOS doesn’t seem to play nice with the 3G.

Aves is a new game engine entirely based on web technologies. It will be used to build 2D / 2.5D videogames running in every browser with modern CSS, HTML and Javascript web standards. It will handle viewports automatically, and - being based on web technologies - the developers promise Aves games will run just fine on the iPad and other iOS, Android and WebOS devices.
But it doesn’t stop at building games with HTML. It’s got some great API stuff we should all look forward to:

Andy Inhatko has noticed that the iPad keyboard dock mostly works with an iPhone 3GS running iOS 4. You can write emails, notes and anything you want with it. There are some considerations to make though.
iOS 4 came out yesterday, and right after iTunes finished to install it on our iPhones we all wondered whether jailbreak was still possible. Yes, it is. Using an unofficial build of Pwangetool by Criminal90 floating around on the internet (UPDATE: official PwnageTool for iOS 4 is out) and a couple of tricks, I managed to jailbreak my iPhone 3GS and install Cydia on it. Apple has posted a new support document online, describing all the security vulnerabilities they have addressed with the release of iOS 4.
TUAW is reporting that Google Apps users who tried to setup their account using Microsoft Exchange (ActiveSync) ended up with auto-lock automatically set to 1 minute.
“Apparently this is due to the security certificates that Google uses with its Exchange servers. The servers can force security options on compatible devices, which your iPhone becomes once it is running iOS 4.
To be clear: if you have a regular Gmail account and set it up using Exchange, this auto-lock requirement will not be triggered. But if you use Google Apps for your personal domain, it may.”
Some Google users have also reported other sync issues with iOS 4, head over this thread if you’ve been experiencing problems too.
Earlier today Saurik pushed an update for both Cydia and MobileSubstrate, which should now be iOS 4-compatible. To install the updates, just fire up Cydia and do a complete (recommended) upgrade.
Apple has just approved a new version of the official WordPress application (2.5) which, like many other apps this week, adds support for iOS 4.
This update is more important than other apps though, considering that WordPress is the world leading blogging platform and that the iPhone / iPad app has been flawed by terrible bugs and UI inconsistencies for months.
